Sale of Artwork at Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages Contributes to Shelterbox
On various walls within Rosemary, Lavender and Thyme you will find a selection of original paintings which are for sale - my Dad is the artist and these paintings are his interpretation of some of the most beautiful places in the West Country, he hopes they will help create happy memories of your stay at Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages. All proceeds will be donated directly to ShelterBox, providing help to those less fortunate than ourselves.
Far from the Madding Crowd ...
Badgers Sett lies on the edge of Bodmin Moor within the locality of St Neot, which abounds with recreational activities such as walking, birdwatching, hiking, cycling and rock climbing, and enjoys dark night skies with virtually no light pollution. Here on a clear night you can see the stars shining brightly. Nearby Siblyback Lake offers a whole host of watersports.
The village amenities of St Neot, St Cleer and Dobwalls are nearby as are a number of pubs including the London Inn in St Neot, the Crows Nest in Darite and the Plough in Duloe.
Self Catering Holidays all Year Round
We live on site and offer a warm welcome to our guests throughout the year. Our lovely 1.5 acre garden, laid out to offer space to play and places to be quiet and relax, begins to come to life in the early Spring and visitors can enjoy the sight of snowdrops, daffodils and camellias in bloom. Or why not take an Autumn or Winter break in one of our cosy cottages when you can unwind and explore the local countryside and coastal towns and beaches at a leisurely pace.
