Welcome to Badgers Holiday Cottages. Stay in one of our beautiful traditional English cottages in a stunning part of South East Cornwall. Whether you are seeking the fresh air of the countryside, a little bit of historical sightseeing or watersports at nearby Sibleyback Lake, Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages are a perfect choice for some time away. The surrounding countryside is amongst some of the most attractive in the county and is scattered with an array of interesting historical sites, including nearby King Donierts Stone, Trethevy Quoit and a number of medieval settlements.
Our holiday cottages were converted from barns belonging to the original farmhouse, which dates back to 1640. Each cottage has been converted to a very high standard with all modern conveniences and rated 4 Star by The English Tourist Board. Completion of the cottages was in 2006. The granite stone walls of the cottages are up to 2 feet thick, the stones being collected from surrounding area. Older roof tiles are feather-edged Delabole slate from nearby Tintagel. Externally the property has a large parking and turning area. The owners' house and holiday cottages lie nestled in a southerly facing hillside within 2 acres of grounds. Spring water is extracted from a depth of 140', and is tested regularly for purity. There is no extra charge for heating or electricity. We will provide bed linen and 1 bath and hand towel per bedroom. There is a separate laundry facility for guests. The nearest public transport is 2 miles.
